Which thermostats in this category work with fan-coil air conditioning?+
The BeOk AC models, the TDS21-AC2, TDS21-AC4, TDS23-AC2, TGT70-AC2 and TGT70-AC4, are wired wall thermostats. They control fan-coil fans and valves based on room temperature. The other models in this category are for boilers or electric underfloor heating, not air conditioning.
Do I need a 2-pipe or 4-pipe fan coil thermostat for my UAE apartment?+
It depends on your fan-coil unit. A 2-pipe system shares one water circuit, and a 4-pipe system has separate chilled and hot water circuits. Check your existing controller or the unit's documentation. Then confirm the matching model on the product datasheet before ordering.
Can I replace my old AC wall controller myself?+
These are wired thermostats connected to fixed mains wiring. Installation should be done by a qualified electrician following local authority rules, such as DEWA, ADDC/AADC or SEWA. If you rent, the unified Ejari tenancy contract requires the landlord's written approval for modifications.
Will these thermostats fit a standard UAE back box?+
UAE homes commonly use square BS 4662 back boxes with 86 × 86 mm plates, while many European devices are sized for round 60 mm boxes. Check the dimensions on the individual product page against your existing wall box before ordering.
Are there wireless or Wi-Fi thermostats in this category?+
Yes. The BeOk TDR89-WPB is listed with Wi-Fi and is designed for gas boiler heating. The Luxion TP608RF and TP618RF are wireless RF thermostats that come with a receiver for gas or electric boilers. The fan-coil AC models are wired.
