Product details
The Somfy SGS Essential automation kit is designed to motorise residential access gates. It supports a maximum weight of 250 kg per leaf, with a maximum opening angle of 120°. It is easy to install, as the remote controls come already programmed. It can detect obstacles, and in the event of a power cut, the gates can be opened manually.

Easy to Install and Use
The SGC Essential motorisation kit is easy to install thanks to its numbered terminal block, and the remote controls come pre-programmed. The kit allows partial opening of the gate, and once the photocells are installed you can enable automatic closing.

Secure Your Gate
With the SGS Essential photocells installed, the gate stops automatically when an obstacle is detected. In the event of a power cut, the motor can be released manually using a special key, or you can opt for a backup battery.

You can open the gate using the TaHoma app; the automation kit must be connected to the TaHoma control unit.
