Wiring Diagram for TV Sockets

Follow these steps to connect the coaxial cable to the TV socket.

  • 1. Strip 15 mm from the outer jacket of the coaxial cable and fold back the wire braid around the cable.
  • 2. Strip 15 mm of insulation from the centre of the cable (leaving 3 mm) and fit the metal ring.
  • 3. Insert the connector between the braided wire and the insulating material, then crimp the metal sleeves with pliers to secure them.
  • 4. Screw the wired connector onto the TV socket.
