Wiring Diagram for TV Sockets

Follow these steps to connect the coaxial cable to the TV socket.

  • Step 1: Remove 15mm of the outer sheath of the coaxial cable and fold back the wire braid around the cable.
  • Step 2: Remove 12mm of the insulation from the centre of the cable and insert the metal ring.
  • Step 3: Insert the connecting piece between the braided wire and the insulating material, then use pliers to crimp the metal parts to secure them.
  • Step 4: Screw the wired connector tightly into the TV socket.
